Mary Bradford was a pioneer in women’s athletics for 30 years at Tech, serving as the first basketball, volleyball and softball coach in program history. Her softball teams won six conference titles and helped the Lady Owls to the 1997 NAIA World Series. Her contributions extended beyond the athletic field, as Bradford served as women’s athletic director, aquatic director and was a professor.
