Mark Kane was a 2-sport athlete at Tech, earning All-Conference honors as a tight end in football, while earning first-team NAIA All-America honors on the baseball diamond. Kane set the single-season batting average record (.445) in 1982, leading the Owls to the NAIA district title game, while currently holds the all-time record for home runs – 30 – in program history.
