A mainstay around the OIT campus for the last 50 years, Bill Fagan played baseball for the Owls in the 1970s, earning All-District honors in 1976. He transitioned his playing skills into coaching – assisting for the baseball program for four years and the softball program for 20 – helping Mary Bradford, Danny Miles and Greg Stewart win 10 conference titles and the 2011 NAIA National Championship.
