NORMAN, Okla. — Oregon Tech's Mayson Tibbs has been named to the NAIA PING All-Region Team announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). Only 15 players were honored in each region: north, south, central, and west.
 
"Mayson has been one of the best players in our region since his freshmen year," said interim head coach Justin Wiles. "He has continued to improve throughout his entire college career. His work ethic is what makes him stand out among the rest. He has completely changed the culture of our men's team. Oregon Tech owes a lot to Mayson."
 
Tibbs is a three-time All-Cascade Conference selection. This past season Tibbs was the individual champion at both the Oregon Tech Spring invite and the Lewis-Clark State Invitational. He ended the season with a 74.7 scoring average.
