Biography
Mayson Tibbs:
Prior to Oregon Tech – Mayson played his high school golf at Crook County High School. He was the state 4A OSAA runner up his last year and won multiple events. Mayson was a member of the prestigious Eddie Hogan Cup team that represented the state of Oregon.
2018-19 Season: Mayson had a great year for the Owls. He played in his second NAIA Championships. Mayson won several events, and was often under par. Mayson finished the year as an All-American and a scoring average of 72.1.
2017-18 Season: As a true freshman Mayson won the CCC Championship Tournament and led the Owl’s to the NAIA National tournament. Mayson had a season scoring average of 75. He was under par 4 times with a low round of 69.
Coach Corkill comments: Mayson returns as our top player. His success in his sophomore year and the summer of high-level performance should lead to a great junior year. Mayson should compete for All-American status and spearhead our efforts to compete at the highest level in the NAIA.
