PORTLAND, Ore. –
Issey Tanimura shot a final round 1-under-par 72, helping Oregon Tech climb two spots on the team leaderboard, finishing fourth at the final Cascade Conference regular-season tournament, the Warner Pacific Invitational at Glendoveer Golf Club.
The Owls (301-300-303 – 904) moved past Corban and Warner Pacific in the standings, finishing tied with rival Southern Oregon (302-300-302 – 904) in the standings. British Columbia (298-285-286 – 869) finished the 54-hole tournament at 7-under par, two shots ahead of Lewis-Clark State (293-293-285 – 871).
Tanimura (78-73-72 – 223) had four birdies in his final round on the Par-73 course, ending the event in a tie for 14th – 10 shots behind medalist Luke West (70-73-70 – 213) of LC State.
Silas Guzlas (75-74-75 – 224) shot a final round 2-over-par 75 to place 16th, with
Jack Tieman (73-77-78 – 229) ending in 24th.
Grayson Moore (77-74-78 – 229) and
Cayson VanBeekum (75-76-78 – 229) were in a tie for 26th, with
Kade Bracken (78-80-86 – 244) in 50th.
