Lily Everson recorded personal best marks in all four events, competing in the heptathlon at the Riverhawk Multi at Umpqua Community College.
Everson sits in third-place with 2,131 points after Day 1, with teammate
Madi Perkins recording 1,610 points, good enough for tenth-place.
The senior opened the day with a time of 17.01 in the 100-meter hurdles, cleared 1.28 meters (4 feet, 2 ¼ inches) in the high jump, threw the shot put 8.34 meters (27-4 ½) and clocked a 200-meter time of 26.83.
Perkins finished the hurdles in 19.42 seconds, while posting solid efforts in the high jump (1.25 / 4-1 ¼) and shot put (8.15 / 26-9), finishing with a time of 29.89 in the 200.
Day 2 of the heptathlon begins Tuesday at 10 a.m.
