LA GRANDE, Ore. –
McKenna Donovan broke the indoor school record in the 60-meters and won the long jump, capping a big weekend for the Oregon Tech women's track team at the EOU Last Chance Meet.
Donovan placed third in the 60, reaching the finals with a preliminary time of 7.91 seconds, improving the time to 7.88 seconds in the final, placing third. The sophomore narrowly missed a second school mark with the win in the long jump with a mark of 5.24 meters (17 feet, 2 ¼ inches).
Sydney Soskis also doubled, reaching the final in the 60-meters (8.15) and placing second in the long jump (5.19 / 17-0 ½).
Tiffany Humpherys won the 400-meters (1:00.79), with
Ava Blatchford placing third in the 600-meters (1:40.90) and
Aurora Atwood taking third in the shot put (11.76 / 38-7).
