ASHLAND, Ore. – Personal best marks in the field events highlighted Day 1 for the Oregon Tech women's track team at the 2025 Cascade Conference Championships at Raider Stadium.
Becca McGee and
McKenna Donovan each recorded fifth-place finishes, as eight different Lady Owls scored points on the afternoon, with the 19 points tallied by the team good enough for sixth place heading into competition tomorrow.

Julia Ketcham each cleared 3.25 meters (10 feet, 8 inches) in the pole vault – McGee taking the higher placement to fewer attempts and hitting a personal best mark, with Ketcham placing sixth.
Donovan recorded the No. 7 mark in OIT history with a leap of 5.44 meters (17-10 ¼) in the long jump, with
Sophia Small placing eighth with a mark of 5.27 meters (17-3 1/2).
In the throws,
Emily Bitler was 17th in the hammer throw (37.95 meters / 124-6).
On the track, the Lady Owls scored six points in the 3,000-meter steeplechase – as
Charis Childers (12:10.34),
Corinne Childers (12:12.36) and
Jane Kuebrich (12:16.36) placed sixth through eighth.
Tiffany Humpherys scored a point in the 400-meters, clocking a time of 59.74 seconds to place eighth, with
Ava Blatchford (1:01.22) in 14th.
Rounding out the day,
Chloe Crawford (41:28.09) took ninth and
Raleena Maxson (42:52.23) took 12th.
