CORVALLIS, Ore. – It was a big meet for the lone Oregon Tech competitor, as Aurora Parsons recorded the second-best discus mark in program history at the OSU High Performance Meet.
 
The junior recorded a season-best mark of 39.56 meters (129 feet, 9 inches) in the discus, the best throw by a Lady Owl in 16 years – and the No. 5 mark in the CCC.
 
Parsons followed it up with a mark of 39.58 meters (129-10) in the javelin.
 
OIT heads to Ashland next weekend for the Cascade Conference Championships.
