MCMINNVILLE, Ore. – A pair of Cascade Conference qualifying marks in the 10,000-meters, the debut of relay teams and solid marks in the field events highlighted a strong day for the Oregon Tech women's track team at the Jenn Boyman Invite, hosting by Linfield University.

Chloe Crawford opened the meet for Tech with a second-place finish in the 10,000-meters, with the time of 41:17.70 easily meeting the league minimum, with teammate
Raleena Maxson (41:31.74) matching the provisional with a fourth-place effort.
On the track,
Sydney Soskis improved her top 100-meter time (12.54), placing fourth, with
Lily Everson hitting the league standard in the 400-meter hurdles (1:09.08). The duo was joined by
McKenna Donovan and
Tiffany Humpherys to win the 4x400-meter relay (4:03.14) with a Top-10 time in program history. Soskis, Humpherys, Donovan and
Brooke Anderson combined to place second in the 4x100-meter relay (49.48) – also a Top-10 mark in OIT history.
The Lady Owls added three new CCC marks in the throws, as Donovan moved into eighth-place on the all-time OIT list with a long jump mark of 5.38 meters (17 feet, 8 inches).
Emily Bitler qualified for her third-straight CCC meet with a throw of 36.98 meters (121 feet, 4 inches) in the discus, with
Jozie Ramos hitting the shot put mark (10.68 meters | 35 feet, ½ inch) in her season debut.
Tech heads next weekend to Monmouth for the John Knight Twilight.
