Hustlin' Owls 8th After 36 Holes in Spring Opener

HENDERSON, Nev. - Playing in the highly competitive RMC Intercollegiate at Reflection Bay Golf Club, the Oregon Tech men's golf team sits in eighth-place overall heading into tomorrow's final round.

Tech (325-315 - 640) improved by 10 strokes from the morning to afternoon round. British Columbia (281-302 - 583) holds the Day 1 lead, ahead of The Master's (290-296 - 586) and Ottawa (293-303 - 596).

The five OIT players were grouped tightly in the results, as Issey Tanimura (81-79 - 160) and Silas Guzlas (83-77 - 160) sit in a tie for 32nd, just ahead of Tyler Vassar (80-82 - 162), Jack Tieman (79-84 - 163) and Kade Bracken (84-79 - 163).

Day 2 starts with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
