CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon Tech freshman Silas Guzlas was named Cascade Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, announced by the league office.

Competing in his first collegiate event, Guzlas finished second overall at the Rumble at the Ridge - shooting 4-over-par for the 36 hole tournament, including an even-par 72 over his final round. His efforts helped the Hustlin' Owls take third in the 12 team tournament.

Tech returns to the course next week, hosting the Run In at the Ranch at Running Y Resort, next Monday and Tuesday.
