Lady Owls Cruise to Team Title at Bushnell Invitational

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – A dominant performance by the Oregon Tech women's cross country team led the Lady Owls to the team title of the Bushnell Invitational at Pine Ridge Golf Course.

OIT had all five scoring runners in the Top-12, finishing the meet with 22 place-points – well ahead of conference rivals Bushnell (46) and Northwest (68).

Charis Childers (23:47) and Jane Kuebrich (23:54) were the Top-2 collegiate finishers – placing third and fourth overall. Corinne Childers (24:08) placed eighth, Chloe Crawford (25:06) was ninth and Raleena Maxson (25:31) took 12th.

Both Ava Robinson (27:22) and Eli Haas (30:33) recorded personal best 6,000-meter times, with Natalie Hammond (28:51) finishing as Tech's No. 7 runner.

"I am really proud of how we ran today," said OIT head coach Mike Anderson. "Huge effort by both Corinne and Jane and a really good race from Chloe. Charis beat some legit runners."

OIT will return to action in two weeks, competing at the Cascade Conference Championships.
