MCKINLEYVILLE, Calif. – Running for the second-straight weekend, the Oregon Tech women's cross country team placed fourth overall at the Jim Hunt Humboldt Invitational at Beau Pre Golf Course.
Paced by three runners under 24 minutes on the 6,000-meter course, the Lady Owls finished with 73 place-points – behind host Cal Poly Humboldt (32), Southern Oregon (58) and San Francisco State (62).
Chloe Crawford continued a tremendous start to 2025, shaving 92 seconds off her time on the same course from a season ago, placing eighth with a time of 23:51. Both
Saundra Parsons and
Charis Childers crossed the line together in 23:59, placing 12th and 13th.
Freshman
Aubrey Strang (24:25) and
Corinne Childers (25:11) rounded out the scoring five for the Lady Owls.
OIT will take the next two weekends off, preparing for the Willamette Invitational on Oct. 4.
