CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon Tech senior Eli Stevens was selected as McDonald's-Urban Edge Network Cascade Conference Men's Track and Field Field Athlete of the Week, announced by the league office.
 
Stevens earned a victory in the decathlon at the recent Riverhawk Multi in Roseburg, posting the top score in the NAIA this season with 6,316 points. He won seven of the 10 individual events and shined in the field disciplines – establishing CCC Meet qualifying marks in the long jump, high jump, pole vault and javelin.
 
The Owls will return to action this weekend at the Jenn Boyman Invitational in McMinnville.
