CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon Tech third baseman Addison Kachnik was named McDonalds-Urban Edge Network Cascade Conference Softball Player of the Week, announced by the league office.

The senior, from Beaverton, led the Lady Owls to a 4-game series sweep over College of Idaho to open CCC play, going 6-for-13 at the plate with four doubles and 11 RBI.

Kachnik was 3-for-3 with two doubles and five RBI in Friday's Game 2 win over C of I, adding two hits and four RBI in Saturday's 17-9 victory.

OIT hits the road this weekend for a 4-game series at Simpson.
