KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Oregon Tech's Kristine Schmidt was honored as a third-team NAIA All-America selection, announced by the national office.

The junior, from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, had a banner first season with the Lady Owls, ending the year with a 19-4 record and a 1.66 ERA, leading the team with 159 strikeouts. Schmidt previously was named Cascade Conference Newcomer of the Year, while being selected to the All-CCC Team and a member of the NFCA All-Region IV team.

Schmidt led OIT to a 43-10 record in 2026, winning their fifth-straight CCC regular-season title and advancing to the title game of the NAIA Opening Round bracket.
