OPPONENT PREVIEW – CORBAN (6-6-2, 4-3-1 CCC) | 39TH MEETING | CRB LEADS SERIES, 18-15-5 | LAST MEETING – 2025 (OIT 3, CRB 0): The Lady Owls open up a key road trip Friday in Salem, putting a 2-game win streak against Corban on the line. The Warriors currently are in a 3-way tie for sixth-place in the league standings and are coming off a convincing 4-1 win last weekend over Bushnell. Kate Dickson (4 goals, 3 assists) leads Corban in scoring, with Haley Miersma (4 goals, 2 assists), Kelli Huskic (3 goals, 2 assists) and Gabrielle Nakamura (2 goals, 2 assists) key contributors. Keeper Jordyn Labajo (1.07 GAA) has had a great year, posting a .831 save percentage.

OPPONENT PREVIEW – BUSHNELL (4-6-2, 3-5-0 CCC) 26TH MEETING | OIT LEADS SERIES, 20-3-2 | LAST MEETING – 2025 (OIT 0, BU 0): The final road date of the 2026 season has Tech at Civic Park in Eugene to meet Bushnell. The Beacons have split their last six matches, while taking a streak of scoring at least one goal in each of their last seven contests. Four players have scored 3-or-more goal for Bushnell – Brielle Engle (5 goals, 2 assists), Ohu Miles (4 goals, 2 assists), Elidia Cervantes Carlos (4 goals, 1 assist) and Arela Leslie (3 goals) – with keeper Gabreilla Montes (1.75 GAA) playing the majority of minutes in goal.

PLAYOFF PICTURE: Two weeks remain in the CCC schedule, and the Lady Owls must win their final four matches to have a chance to advance to the CCC Championships – with three of the four matches against teams directly ahead of them in the league standings. OIT can post a maximum of 16 points in the league table – chasing Corban (13), Warner Pacific (13) and Bushnell (9) – with those three clubs facing gauntlets down the stretch, all meeting OIT and Southern Oregon, along with Rocky Mountain and Carroll. The top-eight teams in the final CCC standings will move on to the postseason tourney, set for Nov. 9-13, in Medford.

1-0 GAMES UNKIND: The 1-0 score for the OIT women's soccer team has been a pitfall for the club as the Lady Owls have dropped 3-straight games by the identical score, with six of their eight losses this season by a 1-0 margin. Friday's match vs. College of Idaho was a stinger, as the two teams battled to a scoreless draw through nearly 90 minutes, before C of I struck for a winning goal with 19 seconds left on the clock.

QUALITY DEFENSE: Defense has been the story for the Lady Owls, limiting each of the top three teams in the league (College of Idaho, Rocky Mountain, Northwest) to just one goal. Keeper Elle Hillar has allowed one goal or less in nine of her last 10 starts, dropping her goals against average to 1.17. Against defending CCC champ, C of I, Tech held the Yotes to just three shots on frame, thanks to the play of defender Alyssa Hudman, who extended a 90-minute playing streak to 13 matches.

GOALS EQUAL RESULTS: For the Lady Owls to make a run to a postseason berth, finding the back of the net is a must. This season, Tech is 4-0-1 when scoring at least one goal in a match, but the club has been shutout eight times – including three straight games and six of the last seven matches.

AROUND THE CCC: College of Idaho had the perfect weekend, hitting the road and sweeping Southern Oregon and Tech, with Northwest moving into third place in the standings with a sweep of Walla Walla and Warner Pacific and WWU earning their first-ever point with a draw vs. Evergreen. The second to last weekend in CCC play will have Carroll and Rocky Mountain at Walla Walla and WPU, Northwest traveling to Evergreen, C of I and Eastern Oregon heading to Providence, with OIT and SOU off to Corban and Bushnell.

CCC STANDINGS: College of Idaho 7-2-0 (21 points), 11-3-0; Rocky Mountain 6-0-2 (20 points), 8-0-4; Northwest 6-2-1 (19 points), 7-4-1; Southern Oregon 5-2-1 (16 points), 8-2-3; Eastern Oregon 5-4-0 (15 points), 9-5-1; Warner Pacific 4-3-1 (13 points), 5-4-2; Carroll 3-1-4 (13 points), 4-3-6; Corban 4-3-1 (13 points), 6-6-2; Providence 4-6-0 (12 points), 4-9-0; Bushnell 3-5-0 (9 points), 4-6-2; Oregon Tech 1-6-1 (4 points), 4-8-1; Evergreen State 0-7-2 (2 points), 0-8-3; Walla Walla 0-7-1 (1 point), 0-8-1.
