OPPONENT PREVIEW – COLLEGE OF IDAHO (9-3-0, 5-2-0 CCC) | 33RD MEETING | C OF I LEADS SERIES, 18-9-5 | LAST MEETING – 2025 (C OF I 5, OIT 1): The Lady Owls return home Friday, hosting the 3-time defending CCC champs from College of Idaho. The Yotes are coming off their sixth-straight NAIA tourney appearances, including back-to-back trips to the tournament final site. The 2026 C of I squad lost five All-CCC players and two All-Americans to graduation, with the new team relying on Abbi Roubidoux (9 goals, 3 assists) for scoring production, along with Rylee Russell (6 goals, 5 assists), Alondra Osuna (2 goals, 6 assists) and Shaelyn Olsen (3 goals) to pick up the slack. Keeper Molly McCabe (1.15 GAA) has made 43 saves.

OPPONENT PREVIEW – EASTERN OREGON (8-4-1, 4-3-0 CCC) 31ST MEETING | EOU LEADS SERIES, 13-11-6 | LAST MEETING – 2025 (EOU 3, OIT 2): Saturday features a rematch of the 2025 CCC Tournament, as Eastern Oregon heads to Klamath to take on Tech. EOU topped the Lady Owls, 3-2, in the quarterfinals of last season's tournament, behind the play of All-CCC midfielders Payton Jacaway and Ava Henemeyer (1 goal). Four players have tallied 3-or-more goals for the Mounties – Cassidy Harding (4 goals, 2 assists), Samantha Gjersvold (3 goals, 2 assists), Kardyn Martinez (3 goals) and Gracie Rainsberry (3 goals), with Elysa Morse (1.20 GAA) the top keeper. Expect a physical and tight match-up, as EOU leads the CCC in fouls and the two teams have played seven straight matches decided by one goal or less.

SECOND ARC RATING: The second NAIA West ARC rating was released on Wednesday, with six Cascade Conference schools among the 14 listed. Both weekend opponents are in the top-half, College of Idaho in fourth and Eastern Oregon in sixth, while Rocky Mountain (No. 2), Southern Oregon (No. 5), Northwest (No. 7) and Carroll (No. 12) are listed. The ARC is a key component in determining at-large bids to the NAIA Championships.

RAINY DAY IN MONTANA: The weather Saturday in the Electric City was brutal – driving rain and wind, with temperatures in the mid-30s – not optimal weather for either the Lady Owls or Providence. Tech had chances in the first half with the wind at their backs, putting three shots on frame, while UP did not have a shot until midway through the second half, when a long, wind-aided attempt went to the top shelf of the netting – the only goal in a 1-0 decision. The Lady Owls finished with an edge in shots and set pieces, but were unable to connect for a goal.

NEEDING POINTS: Six matches remain for the Lady Owls, with the squad currently sitting in 11th-place in the CCC table with four total points and a 1-4-1 record. OIT following this weekend, the schedule is favorable, as all four teams they face are in seventh-place or lower in the standings. The Top-8 teams at the end of the league season will advance to the CCC Championships.

90 STREAKS: Three players remained on the field for the entire match in Great Falls, extending streaks of 90-minute matches. Alyssa Hudman is the lone OIT athlete to have played in every minute of every match this season, while Naaliyah Robinson has played 90 minutes in seven consecutive contests and keeper Elle Hillar has played a full 90 in all six CCC counters.

AROUND THE CCC: Rocky Mountain vaulted to the top of the Cascade Conference table with an impressive road sweep at Eastern Oregon and College of Idaho, while Northwest moved into a tie for third with home wins over Corban and Bushnell and Eastern Oregon fell to a tie for fifth by being swept at home by Rocky and Carroll. This week, the Montana schools play, as Providence heads to Rocky and Carroll, Bushnell travels to Corban for a rivalry match, Northwest and Evergreen are off to Warner Pacific and Walla Walla, with C of I and Eastern at Southern and OIT.
