OPPONENT INFORMATION – COLLEGE OF IDAHO (1-5-5, 1-2-4 CCC) | 25TH MEETING | C OF I LEADS SERIES, 19-5 | LAST MEETING IN 2025 (C OF I 3, OIT 0): The weekend opens with a home date against College of Idaho, as the Yotes earned their first league win of the season last Friday against Carroll. C of I has struggled early, having to replace three all-conference players from last year, with the team scoring 10 goals in 11 matches – but found their rhythm last week, thanks to the play of Alfie Roffey (3 goals), Mitch Cameron (2 goals) and Chris Slater (1 goal, 2 assists). Keeper Yago Gonzalez (1.04 GAA) has started the last six matches for the Yotes, stopping 82% of shots on frame. The Owls look to extend a 2-match home win streak over the Yotes.
Â
OPPONENT INFORMATION – EASTERN OREGON (2-3-5, 2-2-3 CCC) | 13TH MEETING | OIT LEADS SERIES, 7-2-3 | LAST MEETING IN 2025 (EOU 1, OIT 0): Tech will put a perfect home record against Eastern Oregon on the line Saturday, as the Hustlin' Owls are 4-0-1 against the Mountaineers in Klamath. EOU is coming off an unbeaten 2025 season (13-0-6), advancing to the NAIA Tournament, but the new club has scored just 11 goals on the season and are coming off home losses to Rocky Mountain and Carroll. Returning All-CCC picks Henry Lopez (3 goals, 3 assists) and Rene Prieto (1 assist) anchor the line-up, with Davyd Fedina (3 goals) and Christian Samayoa (2 goals) key on the attack, with keeper Kevin Pullara (1.60 GAA) starting the past three matches.
Â
ARC RATING: The Owls found themselves in the No. 8 position in the second NAIA West ARC rating of the season, released on Oct. 14. The ARC helps the NAIA National Tournament selection committee determine at-large bids to the upcoming NAIA Championship. Tech is 0-3-4 against teams in the ARC – playing No. 3 Embry-Riddle, No. 4 The Master's, No. 9 Arizona Christian and No. 10 Benedictine Mesa to draws, while dropping matches to No. 1 Rocky Mountain, No. 2 Southern Oregon and No. 6 Carroll. OIT still has No. 5 Bushnell and No. 7 Eastern Oregon on their schedule.
Â
SNOWY SATURDAY SUCCESS: The weather wasn't what Tech expected, 30 degrees, windy and a driving snow, but the Hustlin' Owls used a quick start to earn control of a 3-0 victory in Great Falls over Providence. While the offense converted 3-of-4 shots on frame in the opening half, the OIT defense allowed just one shot on the day to earn three key points in the league standings.
Â
BIG DAY FOR KAY-WONG: It was a career afternoon for midfielder
Lucas Kay-Wong, who factored in on all three goals for the Hustlin' Owls. Kay-Wong made a second-minute cross to
Kevin Alvarenga, before a 30-yard shot cleared the head of the Providence keeper, hit off the underside of the crossbar and found the net. The sophomore got into the scoring act midway through the period, volleying home a high cross from
Sammy Villalta into the net. Kay-Wong capped his afternoon with a perfect thru-ball to a charging
Andrew George, who tucked a shot into the left corner of the net.
Â
ANOTHER CLEAN SHEET: Keeper
Noah Harwood pulled into a tie for the CCC's lead in shutouts, making quick work of Providence on the frigid day. The freshman faced just one shot in the contest, making a save, to post his fifth clean sheet of 2026. Only five OIT keepers in program history have posted more than five shutouts in a season.
Â
3-GOAL SUCCESS: The 3-0 win at Providence improved the Owls to 3-0 this season when scoring 3-or-more goals in a game and improving Tech to 76-2-1 all-time when tallying a trio of goals. OIT has a 31-2-1 record when scoring exactly three goals, while posting a 35-0 mark when scoring 4-or-more goals.
Â

This week, Corban travels to Bushnell, Providence meets in-state rivals Carroll and Rocky Mountain, Northwest and Evergreen are off on the Warner Pacific-Walla Walla trip, with C of I and Eastern at OIT and Southern.
