SPOKANE, Wash. – Oregon Tech left it all on the field in an exhibition friendly against NCAA Division I Gonzaga, playing the Bulldogs even through 50 minutes, before the Zags got two second half goals to post a 2-0 victory.

Harvey Bolland was outstanding, making eight saves on the evening – including five in the first half – helping the Owls complete a clean sheet in the opening period.
After the break, GU broke through, scoring two goals in a span of six minutes to claim the win. In the 51st minute, Drew Peterson played a ball to the top of the 18-yard box, with Robbie Mora lining a shot into the upper part of the net for the go-ahead tally. The Bulldogs doubled the score in the 57th minute, as Geremi Onentia converted a free kick – one of 10 shots on frame for the hosts.
Gonzaga held a 19-3 edge in total shots and a 12-3 edge in corner kicks.
OIT will return to the field next Friday, putting a 5-match unbeaten streak on the line in their Cascade Conference opener, hosting Northwest University at 2:30 p.m.
