DALLAS, Texas - Oregon Tech senior Kacie Schmidt was named a second-team selection to the 2025 National Fastpitch Coaches Association NAIA All-America Team, announced by the governing body.

It marks the second time in Schmidt's career she has earned honors from the NFCA - claiming second-team honors in 2023. It is the fifth All-America honor in her OIT career NAIA first-team honors in 2023 and 2025, along with second-team honors in 2024.

The senior joined former teammate Sarah Abramson as the only pitchers in program history to record three 24-or-more win seasons, finishing 2025 with a 24-6 record and a 1.84 ERA – closing her career ranked No. 2 in program history in both wins (82) and strikeouts (630).
