COMPLETE WEEKLY MEDIA NOTEBOOK

GAME DAY INFORMATION: Both weekend matches will be streamed live on the Urban Edge Network with Mike Safford on the call, while Live Stats of the matches available online through OIT's SIDEARM Stats Portal.

SENIOR DAY INFORMATION: Saturday's match with Corban marks the final home match for six OIT senior student-athletes. Second-year senior Emma Glazebrook, Solei Elletson and Sydney Soskis, third-year senior Chloe Cook and fourth-year seniors Miranda Valle and Kaelin Ness will be honored in a pregame ceremony, set to begin at 11:30 a.m.

OPPONENT PREVIEW – BUSHNELL: The final homestand of the 2025 season begins against the team with the longest win streak in the CCC – Bushnell – as the Beacons (7-3-2, 6-2 CCC) are in the midst of their best season in program history. The Eugene side brings a 5-match win streak to Klamath, outscoring their opponents 13-2 during the stretch – with the Beacons playing 8-of-12 matches on their home field. Keeper Ana Augusto (1.03 GAA, .773 save percentage) is key to the Bushnell success, with the quartet of Elidia Cervantes Carlos (6 goals, 2 assists), Ohu Miles (3 goals, 1 assist), Addy Morgan (2 goals, 3 assists) and Charlotte Vandercar (3 goals) leading the attack. The Owls earned a 2-0 road win over the Beacons last season, with Tech holding a 20-3-1 all-time series lead.

OPPONENT PREVIEW – CORBAN: Tech closes the home schedule on Saturday, hosting a Corban team that has a 1-4 record away from Salem. The Warriors (5-8, 2-6) have been shutout seven times in 13 matches, been outscored 26-13, with the opposition holding a 259-97 edge in total shots. Forward Maya Alston (8 goals, 1 assist) is the go-to player offensively, having taken more than half of the Warriors shot attempts on the season, with Kate Dickson (2 goals, 1 assist), Delaney Fiedler (1 goal, 1 assist) and Chloe Vanderhoof (2 assists) providing support. Keeper Ava Hayes (1.56 GAA, .827 save percentage) is among the top shot-stoppers in the CCC. The Lady Owls topped Corban last season, 1-0, but the Warriors hold a 18-14-5 all-time series edge.

PLAYOFF PICTURE WITH TWO WEEKS LEFT: Two weeks remain in the regular-season, with the Lady Owls clinging to the No. 8 spot in the Cascade Conference standings – with the Top-8 teams advancing to the CCC Championships. OIT is one of eight teams with four matches remaining, with four teams (No. 1 C of I, No. 2 Eastern Oregon, No. 6 Northwest and No. 12 Evergreen State) each with three matches left, with No. 7 Providence having just two games remaining. Tech (and No. 3 Southern Oregon) have a favorable schedule – following their match with fourth-place Bushnell, the two teams will close with games against No. 11 Corban, No. 13 Walla Walla and No. 10 Warner Pacific.

PLAYOFF STREAK: The Lady Owls are looking to extend an 8-year streak of postseason appearances and punch their ticket to the playoffs for the 15th time. OIT won the CCC Tournament title in 2021, while advancing to the tournament title game three times (2006, 2007, 2024). Overall, Tech is a combined 7-10-3 in CCC Tournament play and 12-14-4 all-time in the postseason.

TECH REMAINS UNBEATEN AT HOME: The Oct. 10 win over Providence improved the Lady Owls to 6-0-1 on their own field this season – extending an unbeaten streak in the Basin to 10 matches, dating back to last October. It marks the second-longest home unbeaten streak, as from 2017-22, OIT rattled off 37 matches without a home loss. Playing at home has been key for Tech as during the 26 seasons of women's soccer at OIT, the Lady Owls are 119-60-19 in matches played in Klamath Falls. Since the school installed turf at the on-campus venue in 2017, Tech has been nearly unbeatable, recording a 50-6-8 mark.

TOUGH TRIP EAST: Tech closed out a tough stretch of matches, five road dates in six games, with a long journey to Eastern Oregon and College of Idaho – the top two teams in the CCC table. The leaders limited the Owls to five shots in both matches, while combining for 38 attempts – dropping OIT to 0-4-1 in CCC road games in 2025.

SCORING FIRST: Despite the two losses, the Lady Owls scored first in both weekend matches – becoming the second team this season to lead C of I in the first half. At Eastern, Jaylee Curran played a corner into the middle of the 6-yard-box, where Alejandra Salcedo hit a quick touch that was blocked by the keeper, but slotted home the rebound for a 1-0 lead. At C of I, Sydney Soskis made a great individual effort for a goal – collecting a loose ball in the middle of the attacking third, making a short run to her left and launching a 25-yard left-footed strike into the upper right corner of the net.

CONSISTENT STARTERS: Through 14 matches, four players have started every game for the Lady Owls – Raeah Raymondo, Solei Elletson, Chloe Cook and Emma Glazebrook. During that stretch, two players have played in over 1,000-minutes (of the 1,260 minutes during the year) – Jaylee Curran and Cook.

AROUND THE LEAGUE: Two teams finished the weekend with 2-0 marks – Eastern Oregon sweeping OIT and Southern, while Northwest held serve at home, topping Warner Pacific and Walla Walla. SOU earned the biggest win of the weekend, ending C of I's 32-match CCC win streak with a 3-2 victory, while Evergreen logged their first win of the year, stopping WWU, 3-2. This week, Walla Walla and Warner Pacific travel to Carroll and Rocky Mountain, Corban and Bushnell head to OIT and SOU, Providence treks to C of I and Eastern, with Evergreen and Northwest meet in Kirkland.
