SENIOR DAY SET FOR SATURDAY: Saturday marks the final home match for six senior student-athletes on the OIT men's soccer team. Four-year seniors Ben Bradshaw and Cooper Hunt, third-year senior Grayson Barker, along with 2-year seniors Patrick Chan, Sylver Schweiger and Bridger Meyer, will be honored in a ceremony between Saturday's women's and men's matches.
 
OPPONENT PREVIEW – BUSHNELL: The final home weekend opens against the best Bushnell team in program history, as the Beacons (9-3-2, 3-3-2 CCC) started the season 7-0, outscoring their opponents, 35-14, and holding a 213-119 shot advantage. The dangerous Omar Barajas (11 goals, 6 assists) leads the CCC in points scored, while midfielder Caleb Primo (2 goals, 7 assists) is the CCC assists leader. The trio of Danny Rojas (7 goals, 3 assists), Giovanni Agoglanti (5 goals, 4 assists) and Joan Remo Morales (4 goals, 2 assists) give the squad scoring options. Keeper William Haberfield (1.03 GAA, .696 S%) has been key to the Beacons success in 2025. OIT holds a 17-8-1 series edge, but Bushnell earned a 2-1 win over Tech last season.
 
OPPONENT PREVIEW – CORBAN: The home slate ends against Corban, as the Warriors (4-8-2, 2-4-2) are looking for their first road victory of the season (0-7-1) – but have a positive road result, a 0-0 draw at league-leading Eastern Oregon. Head coach Tim Kagey returned to the team this summer and inherited a roster led by Santiago Castano (4 goals, 4 assists), Zachary Milczarek (5 goals, 1 assist), Alexander Guindy (3 goals, 2 assists) and Gerardo Lopez (2 goals, 1 assist), while keeper Isaac Pureco (1.71 GAA, .649 S%) returns in net. Corban has dominated the all-time series, holding a 21-4-1 series edge on Tech, including a 3-1 victory in Salem last year.
 
LOOKING TO REMAIN UNBEATEN AT HOME: The Oct. 10 win over Providence improved the Owls home record in 2025 to 3-0-1, with the team holding a 5-match unbeaten strike on their own field. Since the OIT Soccer Field was transitioned from natural grass to an artificial turf surface in 2017, the Owls have posted a 43-12-7 record on their own pitch. Since 2020, Tech has dominated foes, recording a 34-7-6 home record.
 
PLAYOFF PICTURE WITH TWO WEEKS LEFT: Heading into the final two weekends of the regular-season, the Hustlin' Owls sit alone in eighth place, holding onto the final spot in the CCC Championships. Only one team has clinched a spot in the tournament (Eastern Oregon), while the Owls sit just three points in the table out of fourth-place.  OIT is one of eight teams with four matches remaining – including games against the seventh place, tenth place and 11th place teams – while three teams above the Owls in the table have fewer matches (C of I and EOU have three contests remaining, with Providence having two). The Top-8 teams following the 12-game schedule will advance to the league tournament in Medford, Nov. 8-12.
 
POSTSEASON STREAK ON THE LINE: The Owls are looking to extend a streak of eight-straight postseason appearance, including NAIA National Tournament appearances in 2021 and 2022. Tech has reached the CCC Tournament semifinals 4-straight years – winning the crown in 2021, losing the championship game in overtime in 2022, while reaching the semis in 2023 and 2024. OIT has a 6-6-2 all-time record at the CCC Championships and a 6-7-3 all-time postseason record.
 
LOOKING BACK AT A TOUGH ROAD TRIP: The Eastern Oregon-College of Idaho road trip is a grind for all teams – with Tech dropping a 1-0 decision at EOU and a 3-0 contest at C of I. The loss at Eastern was the Owls second 1-0 setback in CCC play, as the Mounties took advantage of a 14-9 edge in shots to break through in the second half. The next night, OIT had the run of play for the majority of the match against the Coyotes, however, C of I's keeper, Matej Hron made six saves and the hosts converted on 3-of-8 shot attempts. The Owls are now 5-0-3 this season when scoring a goal in a match, but 0-4-1 when they are shutout.
 
SHOTS GALORE AT C OF I: Surveying the box score vs. C of I, despite not scoring in the match, the Hustlin' Owls had a season-high 21 shot attempts – with Elias Castro taking five shot and both Reece Fletcher and Sylver Schweiger attempting three. Each of the past two seasons, OIT has recorded 20-or-more shots in a match three times.
 
LINE-UP UPDATE: Through 13 matches this season, five players have started each of the contests – keeper Harvey Bolland, defenders Patrick Chan, Bridger Meyer and Cooper Hunt, along with midfielder Anthony Aguiar Casillas. In all, 17 different players have started a match for the Owls, while four players have played in 1,095 or more minutes (of the 1,170 played) – Harvey Bolland (1,170), Cooper Hunt (1,144), Patrick Chan (1,112) and Bridger Meyer (1,097).
 
AROUND THE CCC: Three teams had perfect weekends – including Eastern Oregon, who climbed atop the league table with wins over Southern and OIT – while both Walla Walla and Warner Pacific swept Northwest and Evergreen State (the first-ever weekend sweep for WWU in program history). This week, WWU and WPU head east to Rocky Mountain and Carroll, Bushnell and Corban head to OIT and SOU, Providence travels for matches at Eastern and College of Idaho, with Evergreen playing at Northwest.

TEAM LEADERS: As a team, Tech ranks No. 4 in the Cascade Conference in goals against average (1.00) and shutouts (5), No. 7 in assists per game (1.08), No. 9 in shots per game (12.1), No. 10 in corner kicks per game (3.15) and No. 11 in goals per game (1.31). The Hustlin' Owls are one of four teams remaining in the CCC that has not received a red card in 2025 (four teams have 3-or-more red cards).
