MARION, Ind. – Oregon Tech senior Ally Odell capped her collegiate career on Day 2 of the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, placing 14th overall in the heptathlon at the Indiana Wesleyan Track Complex.

Odell finished the two-day heptathlon with 4,425 points, just off her career-best score.

She started the day with a mark of 4.98 meters (16 feet, 4 inches) in the long jump, had two big marks in the javelin wiped out due to unfortunate landings – settling for a third attempt of 25.21 meters (82 feet, 9 inches), before ending the meet with a quality 800-meter time of 2:27.25.

Tomorrow, OIT closes out the meet with the men's pole vault, with Eli Stevens competing in the event.
