CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Evergreen State College women's soccer team is unable to field a team for this week's competition due to COVID, the Cascade Collegiate Conference announced today.
 
Per CCC guidelines, if a school must stop play because of a COVID-19 outbreak or cannot field a full team, then forfeits shall be awarded for any game(s) that a school misses while unable to play.  
 
The Geoducks were originally scheduled at Southern Oregon on Sunday and at Oregon Tech on Monday - with SOU and OIT each earning forfeit wins. The men's matches between Evergreen and the two schools are not affected

For the Lady Owls, the victory secures a berth in the upcoming Cascade Conference Championships.

OIT will close out the home schedule on Sunday, hosting Northwest University at 2:30 p.m. Prior to the match, the five senior student-athletes will be honored.
