GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Oregon Tech's
Eli Stevens placed 12th overall in the heptathlon at the NAIA Men's Indoor Track and Field National Championships inside the Alachua County Sports and Events Center.
The senior finished the 2-day event with 4,805 points – clocking a 60-meter hurdle time of 9.34 seconds, cleared 4.65 meters (15 feet, 3 inches) in the pole vault, and recorded a time of 2:58.44 in the 1,000-meters.
Carter Glittnger of Friends (Kan.) claimed the title with 5,466 points.
Stevens closes out the meet tomorrow, competing in the pole vault at 10:15 a.m.
