LA GRANDE, Ore. – Three men's indoor school records were toppled on the final day of the regular-season, as Oregon Tech closed out competition at the EOU Last Chance Meet.
Each of the marks were achieved on the 175-meter oval – led by
Kai Miles, who crushed the 3,000-meter record by seven seconds with his second-place finish (8:38.52).
Bryce Worrell claimed the school record in the mile (4:27.43), while
Evan Sneed posted the top 400-meter mark (49.84) in program history.
Tucker Piper capped a solid weekend with a second-place finish in the 800-meters (1:59.29),
Tate Wyman took third in the long jump (6.42 meters / 21 feet, 0 ¾ inches) and had Tech's top time in the 60-meters (7.48), with
Eli Stevens placing third in the pole vault (4.60 / 15-1).
Both
Ryan Doherty (3,656 points) and
Bryson Teal (3,439) completed competition in the heptathlon.
