INDEPENDENCE, Ore. – A near record-setting performance from
Kai Miles headlined the Oregon Tech contingent, as the Hustlin' Owls competed at the George Oja Invite at Oak Knoll Golf Course.
The junior recorded the third-fastest 8,000-meter time in program history, placing 23rd overall in the 407-runner field, clocking a time of 24:21. Only All-Americans Paul Adams (2013) and Mark French (2021) have recorded faster 8,000-meter times.

Both
Bryce Worrell (25:35) and
Daxton Wilson (25:39) placed in the Top-100, Worrell in 90th and Wilson in 94th.
Blake Franke (26:04) stepped up and was the Owls fourth scoring runner, just ahead of
Braedan Doherty (26:06).
