CORVALLIS, Ore. - The tandem of Jackson Cooper and Tatum Schmerbach continued their dominance of the Cascade Conference last weekend, each earning their fourth McDonald's-Urban Edge Network Player of the Week honors, announced by the league office.

Cooper was selected as Defensive Player of the Week after leading the Hustlin' Owls to road wins at Northwest and Evergreen - posting four steals in each game. The junior had 31 points and seven rebounds in the win over NU, followed by 20 points and 12 rebounds at TESC.

Schmerbach was selected as Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Lady Owls to two dominating wins in Washington. The South Medford product recorded her second triple-double of the season at NU, posting 19 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists, followed by 21 points and nine rebounds at TESC. In the win at Northwest, Schmerbach became the 14th OIT player to reach the 1,000-point mark for a career.

Both teams return home this weekend - starting Friday afternoon against Lewis-Clark State, hosting the third-annual K-12 Field Trip Day - with the Lady Owls meeting LC at 12 p.m. and the Hustlin' Owls playing the Warriors at 2 p.m.
