Elijah Zavala. Junior
Bryce Worrell joined the pack with a time of 25:13 – giving the Owls a quality nucleus heading into next season.
Â
WOMEN'S SEASON REVIEW: The Lady Owls received votes throughout the 2025 season in the NAIA Top-25 poll, but were never able to break through – eventually not receiving an at-large bid to the NAIA Championships. The disappointment did not overshadow the outstanding efforts by the squad, as OIT finished fifth in the highly competitive CCC Championships. Transfer
Saundra Parsons had a breakout season, earning All-CCC honors, while earning an at-large bid to Nationals, placing 54th overall – the best finish by an OIT individual qualifier in program history. The trio of Parsons (22:00),
Charis Childers (22:33) and
Chloe Crawford (22:40) broke the 23-minute barrier at the 6,000-meter distance at the George Oja Invite – keying the Lady Owls success.
Â
SCHOLAR-ATHLETES: Eight student-athletes were honored as NAIA Scholar-Athletes (3.50 cumulative GPA, sophomore standing, one full term at OIT) –
Colten Strohmeyer,
Kai Miles,
Charis Childers,
Corinne Childers,
Chloe Crawford,
Eli Haas,
Raleena Maxson,
Sara Daniels, while
Tucker Piper and
Bryce Worrell joined the eight on the Cascade Conference All-Academic Team (3.20 cumulative GPA, sophomore standing, one full term at OIT).
Â
LOOKING AHEAD: Both teams have transitioned to the track for the upcoming indoor and outdoor seasons – with competition expected to begin during the month of January.
