SALEM, Ore. – Three Oregon Tech runners and two relays earned victories, as the Hustlin' Owls closed out April competition at the Berney Classic, hosted by Corban University.

Tech got outstanding performances across the board on the oval – as
Ryan Doherty claimed a win in the 400-meter hurdles (57.35),
Tucker Piper was victorious in the 800-meters (1:59.620, with
Kai Miles posting a win in the 5,000-meters (15:51.45).
The Owls defeated three other teams to win the 4x400-meter relay (3:35.00), with the 4x800-meter relay team (7:59.14) recording the No. 32 mark in the NAIA with their win.
Tate Wyman continued his quality spring – taking second in the 100-meters (11.44) and third in the 200-meters (23.04).
Next week, the Owls will take a small crew to Corvallis for the OSU High Performance Meet – the last qualifier prior to the Cascade Conference Championships.
