KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – The Oregon Tech men's track team posted four event victories and added a pair of Cascade Conference qualifying marks, as the Hustlin' Owls hosted the 2025 Oregon Tech Invitational at Moehl Stadium.
The Owls got wins from
Tate Wyman in the long jump (6.60 meters / 21 feet, 8 inches),
Tucker Piper in the 800-meters (1:58.79), along with the 4x100-meter relay team (42.66) – who posted a seasonal-best time.
Logan Shurts had a big afternoon, recording a personal best mark in winning the high jump (1.88 / 6-2) – the No. 4 mark in the CCC – while hitting a new career mark in the pole vault (4.35 / 14-3 ¼).
Both
Michael Sanchez and
Ryan Doherty had personal-best times in the sprints – Sanchez clocking a time of 11.45 seconds in the 100-meters and Doherty recording a time of 22.69 in the 200-meters.
Both Hayden Burk (12.34 / 40-6) and
Cole Leader (11.93 / 39-1 ¾) hit conference marks in the triple jump.
OIT returns to action next weekend at the Corban Invitational in Salem.
