LA GRANDE, Ore. – Oregon Tech closed out the men's indoor track season with a quality Day 2 at the Eastern Oregon Last Chance Meet inside Banner Bank Track.
Tate Wyman had a big Saturday – placing second in the 60-meter hurdles (9.10), recording a personal best time in the 400-meters (53.51), while posting a career-best mark in the long jump (6.48 meters / 21 feet, 3 ¼ inches).
On the track,
Tyas Selby competed in the finals of the 60-meters, finishing with a time of 7.40 seconds;
Ryan Doherty took fourth in the 600-meters (1:25.87), with
Hadyn Burk (56.44) and
Micah Baird (57.35) each running in the 400-meters.
In the field events –
Logan Shurts recorded a personal best clearance of 1.90 meters (6-2 ¾) in the high jump;
Bryson Teal cleared 1.65 meters (5-5) in the high jump;
Hunter Enick reached the finals in the shot put (12.09 m / 39-8); with both
Cole Leader (5.99 m / 19-8) and Burk (5.25 m / 17-2 ¾) competing in the long jump.
The indoor season ends in two weeks, as Selby will compete at the NAIA Indoor National Championships in the pole vault.
