Patrick Barry was named Cascade Conference Baseball Player of the Week, announced by the league office.
The senior, from Reno, Nev., hit .500 (8-for-16) in the Owls four games in California over the week, recording three doubles and seven RBI, while recording 18 defensive chances without an error.
Barry is one of three players on the team to record a hit in all five games this season - with the second-year player taking a 21-game hit streak (dating back to last season) into the weekend games vs. Simpson. It equals the second-longest hitting streak (
Matthew Ortiz had a 21-game streak last season), with Alex Poltz setting the school mark with a 23-game hit streak in 2018.
