Hustlin' Owls Close Out Regular-Season at Oregon State

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Personal best times in two of the three Saturday running events closed out the Oregon Tech men's track and field regular-season at the OSU High Performance Meet.

Tate Wyman posted a season-best time of 16.36 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles – the No. 8 mark in the Cascade Conference this spring, while teammate Bud Patzke added a PR in the event with a time of 16.74.

Patzke followed in the high jump, clearing a season-best 1.86 meters (6 feet, 1 ¼ inches) – the No. 8 mark in the CCC.

In the 800-meters, Bryce Worrell led a group of six OIT runners, clocking a time of 1:59.68 – just off the CCC provisional mark. Both Austin Kuromi (2:01.08) and Chaz Howard (2:02.40) had season-bests in the event.

The Owls turn their attention to the CCC Championships, to be hosted at Moehl Stadium, May 10-11 – the first time the Basin has held the event in 12 years.
