DALLAS, Texas - Seven Oregon Tech student-athletes were named today to the College Sports Communicators NAIA Academic All-District basketball teams, announced by the governing body.

Erik Fraser, Jamison Guerra, Blake Jensen and Keegan Shivers were among 16 Cascade Conference student-athletes named to the men's basketball Academic All-District team, while Alexis Elquist, Olivia Sprague and Kennedy Tull were among 23 CCC student-athletes named to the women's basketball Academic All-District team.

To be nominated, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in academic standing, maintain a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and start at least 90-percent of the squad's games. The all-district winners are selected by a panel of athletic communication professionals – with Guerra, Shivers and Sprague selected to move on to the prestigious Academic All-America ballot.
