SPRINGFIELD, Ore. –
Bryce Worrell continued a breakout sophomore season with a ninth-place finish, as Oregon Tech closed out the regular-season with a second-place effort at the Bushnell Invitational.
Worrell traversed the 8,000-meter course at Pine Ridge Golf Course in 26:15, one of five Top-20 finishes by the Hustlin' Owls.
As a team, the Owls recorded 39 place points, finishing behind team champ, Northwest University (24), but well ahead of host Bushnell (112). OIT had a 54-second gap between their No. 1 and No. 5 runners, but a 2-minute gap between all seven scoring competitors.
Tucker Piper (26:26) placed 11th, Toby Ruston (26:37) was 14th,
Tychon Preston (26:51) placed 16th and
Kai Miles (27:09) took 17th.

Carson Page (29:18),
Colten Strohmeyer (29:45),
Ryan Mickle (30:08),
Anil Remedios (33:33) and
Caleb Speasl (35:31).
OIT will return to action in two weeks, competing at the Cascade Conference Championships.
