ABOUT THE OPPONENT – CORBAN (10-5, 3-3) | CRB LEADS SERIES, 36-26 | LAST MEETING IN 2025 (CRB 3, OIT 0): Tech heads to the Willamette Valley for the first time this season, facing their third Top-10 opponent of the season, as No. 6-ranked Corban puts a 12-match win streak against the Owls on the line. The Warriors have been a mainstay in the final bracket at the NAIA Championships, with the 2026 team already posting four Top-25 victories.  Corban averages 12.5 kills and 2.1 blocks per set, led by All-American Emma Bischoff (3.54 k/s, 2.66 d/s), with the trio of Greta VanGemert (2.57 k/s, 1.26 d/s), Kendra Bittle (2.10 k/s, 1.65 d/s) and Lauryn Copeland (2.10 k/s, 0.88 b/s) all key in the attack. Veteran setter Nadeiah Howard (5.83 a/s, 1.79 d/s) leads three setters, while libero Dani Street (4.25 d/s) is the top passer.
 
ABOUT THE OPPONENT – BUSHNELL (9-4, 4-2) | OIT LEADS SERIES, 21-20 | LAST MEETING IN 2025 (BU 3, OIT 0): Saturday, the Owls make the hour drive south to Eugene, squaring off against a Bushnell team coming off a trip to the Final Site of the NAIA Championships. The Beacons opened the CCC season with four wins, including an upset of Corban, before dropping a pair last weekend to EOU and C of I. The squad averages 12.6 kills and 2.3 aces per set, with Amyah Semau (3.02 k/s, 2.35 d/s), Taya Blakenship (2.61 k/s, 1.63 d/s), Soleil Sands (1.67 k/s, 1.10 b/s) and Jerzie Bair (1.60 k/s, 0.69 b/s) leading the attack. Emma Fa'alogo (4.88 a/s, 2.73 d/s) and Avery McCallister (4.77 a/s, 1.67 d/s) leading the setters and Chloe Farr (4.40 d/s) among the league leaders in digs. Tech holds a 21-20 series edge, with the two teams splitting the season series each of the last two seasons.
 
TALE OF TWO MATCHES: Tech dropped a 3-set match last Thursday to Southern Oregon and won a 3-set match on Friday vs. Warner Pacific – with each contest polar opposites. Against SOU, the Owls finished the night with their second-lowest attack percentage of the season, swinging at a .044 clip. Just 24 hours later, OIT flipped the script, recording their best hitting night in four seasons and the No. 14 hitting night in school history (.402) – while holding their fourth opponent of the season under a .100 attack percentage.
 
BIG NIGHTS VS. THE KNIGHTS: The efficient hitting night was spread around for the Lady Owls against Warner Pacific, led by Steffini Goss, who recorded 12 kills and a .625 attack percentage – the tenth player in OIT history to record at least 12 kills and record an attack percentage of .625 or greater. Alexa Gugliotta had a big night, recording a season-best nine kills, while Alison Miller had three aces and Emma Kness had 12 digs.
 
RAMSAY RUNNING THE SHOW: Sophomore Taryn Ramsay has settled into her role in a 1-setter offense, continuing to put up quality numbers – as the Lady Owls top passer ranks second in the league in assists per set (8.83). Ramsay had 25 assists and four blocks vs. Southern, followed by four kills, 38 assists, five aces and five digs vs. Warner Pacific.
 
THAYER CONTINUES TO LEAD NAIA IN BLOCKS: A potential record-setting season for middle blocker Aleksen Thayer continued, as the senior combined for 11 blocks in the Owls two matches. Thayer, who has logged 88 blocks through the Owls first 14 matches, leads the entire NAIA with a 1.69 blocks per set average, while also leading OIT's hitters with a .207 attack percentage.
 
WHALEN CLOSES IN: Tech's libero, Kaley Whalen, continues to lead the Cascade Conference in digs per set, entering the week averaging 4.69 digs per set. The fifth-year player recorded 12 digs in both matches last week, while adding four aces – including three aces against Southern Oregon. Whalen continues to be in striking distance of OIT's all-time digs record, sitting 201 digs away from the mark of 1,839 – needing to average 14 digs per match over the Owls final 14 regular-season contests.
 
AROUND THE CCC: Both Eastern Oregon and College of Idaho remained unbeaten on the season, surviving the difficult Corban-Bushnell trip with a sweep. LC State and Walla Walla completed home sweeps of Northwest and Evergreen, while Southern Oregon won matches over Warner Pacific and OIT. Along with SOU and Tech heading to Corban and Bushnell, WWU and LC head to C of I and Eastern, with Northwest and Evergreen meeting midweek, prior to hosting Warner Pacific.

RECORD BOOK: Four current Lady Owls rank among the Top-25 in the OIT career record book. Aleksen Thayer leads the way, holding the all-time blocks (426) mark, with Kaley Whalen No. 3 in digs (1,638), No. 13 in aces (86) and No. 18 in assists (243), while Lucy Boyd is No. 9 in assists (1,595) and No. 21 in aces (72) and Taryn Ramsay is No. 16 in assists (564).
