LEXINGTON, Ky. - Oregon Tech was honored with the American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award, announced by the governing body.

The distinction in awarded to schools at the NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, junior college and high school levels in men's and women's volleyball, along with beach volleyball. To earn the honor, a school must maintain a 3.30 cumulative grade point average for the school year.

The Lady Owls completed the 2025-26 season with a stellar 3.65 team GPA, one of seven Cascade Conference schools to earn the award.

OIT opens the 2026 season on Friday, August 14, at the Paradise Volleyball Classic in Hawaii.
