CORVALLIS, Ore. - A clutch weekend performance by Oregon Tech defender Yahir Ramos punched the Hustlin' Owls ticket to the postseason and earned the junior Cascade Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Ramos and his back line cohorts posted consecutive clean sheets against offensive minded teams in Warner Pacific and Walla Walla - including holding WWU's leading scorer without a shot attempt. He also pushed forward, scoring a second-half goal vs. WPU and burying a free kick against WWU to break a 0-0 tie.

The Owls head to Medford on Saturday for the CCC Championships, presented by U.S. Bank, meeting second-seeded Carroll at 4 p.m.
