KANSAS CITY, Mo. – All 13 Oregon Tech intercollegiate athletic programs were honored as NAIA Scholar Teams, part of NAIA National Awards Day.
To earn the award, a team must maintain a 3.0 or greater cumulative grade point average during the athletic season.
The OIT men's basketball team posted a 3.61 GPA – the fifth-highest GPA in the NAIA, with the volleyball team posted a 3.78 GPA – tied for the sixth-highest.
Earning the honor were volleyball (3.78), men's basketball (3.61), softball (3.56), women's basketball (3.55), women's basketball (3.55), women's cross country (3.54), men's golf (3.52), women's track (3.41), men's cross country (3.36), women's golf (3.36), women's soccer (3.34), men's track (3.30), baseball (3.22) and men's soccer (3.18).
