KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Oregon Tech junior
Saundra Parsons received an at-large invitation to the 2025 NAIA Women's Cross Country National Championships, set for Nov. 21 in Tallahassee, Fla.
Parsons finished 13th at the Cascade Conference Championships, earning All-CCC honors and claimed the fourth and final individual spot from the league into the NAIA Championships for teams that did not qualify for the event. The transfer becomes the ninth Lady Owl athlete to earn at at-large spot in the NAIA Championships and first since 2022.
College of Idaho, Eastern Oregon, Southern Oregon and Lewis-Clark State earned team bids to the event, while the Lady Owls, as a team were the second team on the bubble left out of the event. Individual runners from Evergreen, Corban, Trinity Western were selected, along with Parsons.
