KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech golf coach Dave Myers has announced a Summer Golf Clinic, set for Aug. 25-26 at Running Y Resort.

The 2-day event is for middle school and high school players (Grades 7-12) and will run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. each day. The clinic will be limited to the first 40 players to sign up.
 
The focus of the clinic is to help players build sound fundamentals and new skills including the full swing, pitching, chipping, putting, and fun, effective practicing. Participants will be divided into groups of similar skill levels-with each session taught by current OIT coaches and players. Advanced players will be introduced to on-course strategies and mental skills to handle the stress of competition.
 
Players will need to provide their own set of golf clubs and meet at the main putting green outside the golf shop at the Running Y Resort Golf Course. Please wear appropriate clothing for golf (pants or shorts and a collared shirt) and bring a water bottle.
