Lady Owls Miss Cut at NAIA Championships

YPSILANTI, Mich. – Despite improving their score by four strokes during Round 2 of the NAIA Women's Golf National Championships, Oregon Tech fell 10 strokes off the cut line – seeing their season end with an 18th-place finish at Eagle Crest Golf Club.
 
Tech posted a team round of 315, finishing the day at 58-over-par – with the Top-15 teams and ties advancing to play the final two rounds. Bellevue (Neb.) claimed the final spot in the field at 48-over-par.
 
Individually, Quincy Beyrouty saw her magical year come to a close, finishing one shot off the individual cut line after posting a two-round score of 10-over par (79-75 – 154), with freshman Madison Dick (79-76 – 155) one shot behind her teammate. The top-six individuals not on one of the 15 qualifying teams were selected to play Rounds 3 and 4.
 
Sydney Dick (80-79 – 159), Bayley Hodgman (83-85 – 168) and Madie Hepner (81-89 – 170) closed out the OIT competitors.
