LEWISTON, Idaho – Four Oregon Tech women's golfers placed in the Top-10 overall, helping the Lady Owls to a second-place finish at the Lewis-Clark State Fall Invite at Lewiston Country Club.
OIT (317-316 – 633) had the Day 1 lead, but host LC State (313-298 – 611) recorded their best team round of the season to erase a 4-shot deficit to claim the crown. College of Idaho (338-324 – 662) was a distant third.
The leader in the clubhouse,
Madison Dick (74-80 – 154), finished fifth overall, Tech's top finisher. LC State's Giulia Belfontali (79-71 – 150) rallied in today's final round to tie C of I's Reece Garey (75-75 – 150) atop the leaderboard, winning a 1-hole playoff for medalist honors.
Madie Hepner (78-80 – 158) finished eighth for the Lady Owls, with
Baylee Hodgman (78-80 – 158) recording Tech's best round of the day to place ninth, with
Kali Rowe (82-78 – 160) in tenth.
The Lady Owls close out the fall season in two weeks at the Firestorm Classic.
