KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A big first half of the season, along with a stellar performance at the Cascade Conference Championships was enough for the Oregon Tech women's golf team, as the Lady Owls earned the final at-large bid to the NAIA Women's Golf National Championships, announced by the national office.
OIT finished No. 22 in the final NAIA Top-25 poll and grabbed one of 13 at-large bids to the event, set for May 19-22, in Ypsilanti, Mich.
It is the second-straight year and the sixth trip to the national tournament for the Lady Owls.
Tech was one of three CCC teams to advance to Nationals – as British Columbia claimed the league's automatic bid and Lewis-Clark State joined the Owls in the at-large pool.
