Quincy Beyrouty has a two-stroke lead after Round 1, leading Oregon Tech to a commanding 12 stroke lead at the Run-In at the Ranch on the Arnold Palmer Signature Course at Running Y Resort.
Beyrouty carded two birdies and three bogeys as part of her 1-over-par 73, sitting two shots ahead of four players – including teammates
Madie Hepner (75) and
Madison Dick (75), as both underclassmen logged three birdies on the day.
OIT finished the day at 13-over-par (301) ahead of North Idaho College (313) and Menlo College (314), with conference rivals Southern Oregon (334), College of Idaho (336) and Bushnell (341) well off the pace.
SOU's Keira Cheng (75) and C of I's Kaylee Jones (75) joined Hepner and Dick in second-place, with Menlo's Holly Obermuller and NIC's Alyssa Butterfus and Delaney White tied for sixth after a first-round 77.
Navy Wood keyed the Lady Owls success with a first-round 78,
Sydney Dick shot a 79, with both
Baylee Hodgman and
Brittney Barrington carding 82's.
Tuesday's final round begins with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m.
