Lady Owls in 12th After 36 Holes in Florida

PALM HARBOR, Fla. – Playing 36 holes in a day for the first time in three seasons, the Oregon Tech women's golf team had an up-and-down day on the East Coast, competing at The Invite at Innisbrook.
 
Playing the South Course at Innisbrook Golf and Country Club, the Lady Owls sit in 12th place (out of 19 teams) with a 36-hole total of 625 (312-313) on the par-71 layout. SCAD-Savannah (284-290 – 574) holds the Day 1 lead, ahead of host Dalton State (296-290 – 586) and Southeastern (298-296 – 594).
 
Quincy Beyrouty (71-76 – 147) opened the day with an even-par 71 and sits in a 4-way tie for ninth-place, eight strokes behind leader Crystal Zamzow (68-71 – 139) of Cumberland.
 
Two other OIT players are in the Top-50 in the 99-player field – as Madie Hepner (75-78 – 153) is 38th and Madison Dick (79-78 – 157) is 50th. Senior Navy Wood (87-81 – 168) and junior Baylee Hodgman (88-87 – 175) rounded out the Lady Owl players.
 
The final round of the tournament is set for a 5:30 a.m. (PDT) shotgun start on Tuesday.
